1 Clement
Chapter XXXIV
The good workman receiveth the bread of his work with boldness, but the slothful and careless dareth not look his employer in the face.
Ὁ ἀγαθὸς ἐργάτης μετὰ παρρησίας λαμβάνει τὸν ἄρτον τοῦ ἔργου αὐτοῦ, ὁ νωθρὸς καὶ παρειμένος οὐκ ἀντοφθαλμεῖ τῷ ἐργοπαρέκτῃ αὐτοῦ,
It is therefore needful that we should be zealous unto well doing, for of Him are all things:
δέον οὖν ἐστὶν προθύμους ἡμᾶς εἶναι εἰς ἀγαθοποιΐαν: ἐξ αὐτοῦ γάρ ἐστιν τὰ πάντα.
